1.APAKAH JENIS PELAN INSURAN BAGI TAKAFUL MEDIC-SAVE RIDER?
Takaful Medic-save Rider adalah Medical rider dimana ianya boleh disertakan dengan sijil baru individu takaful keluarga. Ianya menyediakan pembayaran semula bagi perbelanjaan perubatan ketika kemasukan hospital , pembedahan, rawatan dan sebagainya.

2.APAKAH TEMPOH MINIMA & MAKSIMA PELAN INI?
Tempoh sumbangan minima ialah 5 tahun dan tempoh maksima adalah 75 tahun.. Pelan ini juga bergantung pada sijil asas takaful,contohnya jika digandingkan dengan polisi seumur hidup, perlindungan akan dilanjutkan sehingga umur 75 tahun. Jika digandingkan dengan endowmen 10 tahun, maka perlindunganakan menjadi 10 tahun sahaja.


3.ADAKAH PELAN INI DIGANDINGKAN DENGAN BONUS-BONUS?JIKA ADA, BERAPAKAH YANG AKAN DIPEROLEHI?
Memandangkan ianya adalah ‘Medical rider’, maka TIADA bonus akan digandingkan dengannya.

4.ADAKAH PREMIUM AKAN DIKECUALIKAN DARI CUKAI?
Ya,sehingga RM3,000 setahun termasuk polisi pendidikan.

5.APAKAH YANG SAYA AKAN DAPAT KETIKA MATANG?
Jika peserta masih hidup sehingga tarikh matang dan dimana pada penghujung tahun akhir kewangan, ada lebihan dari pendapatan pada liabiliti, 80% dari lebihan itu akan disimpan bagi sumbangan para peserta dan ianya hanya dibayar kepada anda bersama dengan faedah ketika tempoh matang bagi kontrak ini.

6.BAGAIMANA CARA PEMBAYARAN?
Cara bayaran akan mengikut pada sijil pelan asas. Ianya mempunyai 4 pilihan untuk membayar, iaitu Bulanan,Suku Tahun, Setengah Tahun dan Tahunan.Anda diberi kebebasan untuk memilih mengikut kesesuaian anda.

7.BAGAIMANA ‘TAKAFUL MEDIC-SAVE RIDER’ MELINDUNGI SAYA?
‘Takaful Medic- Save Rider’ akan membantu anda untuk menyelesaikan segala bil perubatan.Selain itu, kemasukan ke Hospital akan menjadi lebih mudah dengan menggunakan Kad Perubatan yang diisukan oleh MediJaring.

8.ADAKAH IANYA MEMPUNYAI TEMPOH MENUNGGU?
Yes, 30 days waiting period will be applied between the beginning of a disability and the commencement of this contract.

9.ADAKAH SIJIL POLISI PINJAMAN DISEDIAKAN?
Tidak.Sijil Pinjaman hanya dipraktikkan pada sijil pelan asas dan bukannya pada rider.

10.BOLEHKAH MEMBELI BE BERAPA POLISI ?
Sudah tentu. Selagi had keseluruhan seumur hidup tidak melebihi had syarikat - RM300,000 seumur hidup.

11.SIAPAKAH YANG BOLEH MEMBELI PELAN INI?
Semua rakyat Malaysia, atau penduduk tetap Malaysia yang berumur diantara 30 hari (tiga puluh hari) hingga 59 tahun (lima puluh sembilan tahun).

12.APAKAH AKAN JADI KEPADA SIJIL ASAS SAYA JIKA SAYA SUDAH MENGGUNAKAN SEMUA HAD SEUMUR HIDUP DIBAWAH TAKAFUL MEDIC-SAVE?
Peserta masih boleh menikmati faedah sijil asas bagi kematian dan TPD sebelum tamat polisi. Selain itu, apa jua rider yang digandingkan dengan polisi adalah masih sah sehingga tamat tempoh.

13.BERAPA BANYAK PESERTA BOLEH TUNTUT DARI PELAN?
Amaun tuntutan telah ditetapkan kepada RM100,000 setahun bagi had keseluruhan dan RM300,000 bagi had keseluruhan seumur hidup bergantung kepada co-Takaful dan co-bayaran. Peserta boleh menuntut sehingga amaun yang disebutkan di atas.

14.SIAPAKAH YANG PERLU DIHUBUNGI KEMASUKAN SEBAGAI PEMEGANG KAD ‘TAKAFUL MEDIC-SAVE RIDER’?
Anda perlu menghubungi Pentadbir Perkhidmatan Pihak Ketiga, MediJaring Hotline No. 1300 88 6334 .Mereka akan menasihati dan membantu anda berkenaan kemasukan anda.

15.ADAKAH KAD ‘TAKAFUL MEDIC-SAVE RIDER’ DIIKTIRAF OLEH HOSPITAL?
MediJaring sedang menguruskan dengan beberapa hospital seluruh Malaysia.Butiran lanjut bagi hospital akan disediakan di dalam Mailer Kit selepas 1BULAN permohonan diluluskan.Walaubagaimanapun, kesemua butiranperlu dibuat secara terus kepada MediJaring dahulu untuk memastikan status panel hospital.

16.JIKA SAYA MEMOHON BAGI PERKHIDMATAN KESIHATAN,ADAKAH TEMPOH MENUGGU?
30 hari dari polisi bermula,120 hari bagi sakit yang tertentu.Dengan pantas, bagi kes-kes kemalangan.

17.JIKA BERLAKUYA KECEMASAN, HOSPITAL YANG MANAKAH PERLU SAYA PERGI?

Jika ada kes kecemasan, sila bawa ke hospital terdekat. MediJaring akan membantu untuk menguruskan surat jaminan dengan hospital yang mana boleh.

18.BOLEHKAH SAYA MENIKMATI KEISTIMEWAAN KAD ‘TAKAFUL MEDIC-SAVE RIDER’ BILA SAYA KE LUAR NEGARA.
Tidak.Kad Perubatan ini hanya boleh digunakan untuk hospital dalam Malaysia. Anda perlu membayar kesemua perbelanjaan yang terlibat dan failkan tuntutan terus ke MediJaring selepas pulang ke Malaysia.

19.PERLUKAH SAYA MEMBAYAR APA-APA JUA CAJ KETIKA KELUAR HOSPITAL?
Bahagian anda hanyalah Co-Takaful atau Co-Bayaran.
MediJaring akan menjamin perbelanjaan yang terlibat dimana ianya adalah dalam lingkungan had faedah Sijil anda.Anda mungkin perlu membayar Co-bayaran dan Co-Takaful,mana-mana caj berlebihan ataupun caj yang tidak dilindungi dibawah sijil anda (telekomunikasi,makanan tambahan,perbelanjaan lain.cukai perkhidmatan,bantua istimewa,dll) Hospital mungkin akan meminta wang pendahuluan untuk menampung Co-bayaran dan Co-Takaful dan item yang tidak dilindungi oleh Sijil. Ini mungkin dipulangkan ketika keluar dari hospital selepas ditolak amaun Co-Bayaran dan Co-Takaful dan caj-caj yang tidak dilindungi.

20.BAGAIMANA JIKA HOSPITAL ITU BUKAN DARI PANEL MEDIJARING DAN TIDAK DIIKTIRAF MEDIJARING?
Jika bukan panel hospital tidak menerima GL yang diisukan oleh Medijaring,dan pelanggan dinasihatkan atau meneruskan dengan hospital bukan-panel dimana mereka perlu membayar penuh bil mereka,kemudian hantarkan borang tuntutan bagi pembayaran semula.

Kadar Sumbangan adalah berdasarkan pada jantina dan umur Peserta.
•Kadar Sumbangan akan meningkat apabila Peserta mencapai kumpulan umur yang lebih tinggi seterusnya.
•Perlindungan hanya bermula apabila bayaran telah diterima.

Firm gives goodies to guests

THE heat was on at the Maybank Malaysia Open 2009, held at the Saujana Golf & Country Club, as world class players competed for the top spot.

But while the players kept the game sizzling, the employees of Etiqa Insurance & Takaful kept the crowd refreshed and protected.

The staff braved the hot sun as they handed out cold drinks to the spectators, who were trudging the nines to watch their favourite players.

The Etiqa staff also served one of the local favourite snacks, kacang putih to the visitors, that turned out to be a hit among them.

The company’s CEO Datuk Aminuddin Md Desa said that they wanted to be known as a helpful organisation.

“We wanted the crowd to enjoy the game, and make this an enjoyable and memorable experience,” Aminuddin said.

The other extra treat from the company was the Etiqa Hospitality Marquee, where the guests were invited not only to watch the game up-close but also receive relaxing back massages and foot reflexology.

Etiqa Takaful relocates to meet increasing demand

KUANTAN: Etiqa Takaful has relocated two of its branches to meet the increasing demand of their customers here.

Its previous branches in Jalan Tun Ismail 1 and Jalan Datuk Lim Hoe Lek were relocated to a larger office in Jalan Tun Ismail.

Customers could now purchase and enquire about insurance and takaful products and services under one roof.

Its chief executive officer Datuk Aminuddin Md Desa said the firm made its debut on November 15, 2007.

“Placing people over policies is not just a promise that we pluck out of the blue. This promise is reflected through our actions.

“One such action is the relocation of our branches one in Kuantan. This new location will make it easier for customers to reach us,” he said.

Etiqa is currently in the midst of relocating its other branches around the country.

Etiqa sasar premium RM1.4b

KUALA LUMPUR 27 Feb. - Etiqa Takaful Bhd. (Etiqa) menyasarkan premium kasar sebanyak RM1.4 bilion pada tahun ini berbanding RM1.044 bilion pada tahun kewangan berakhir 30 Jun 2008.

Ketua Pegawai Eksekutifnya, Mohd. Tarmizi Ahmad Nordin berkata, peningkatan sasaran premium itu berikutan pertumbuhan perniagaan insurans yang berterusan walaupun berlaku kelembapan ekonomi.

Beliau memberitahu, bilangan pemegang polisi insurans hayat didapati terus meningkat berbanding insurans jenis lain.

"Kami yakin untuk berada di landasan yang betul bagi mencapai jumlah premium kasar melebihi RM1 bilion setiap tahun.

"Etiqa kini mempunyai pemegang polisi hampir sejuta orang dan merupakan syarikat takaful terbesar di dunia.

"Insurans hayat menyumbang kira-kira 70 peratus kepada pertumbuhan perniagaan syarikat manakala lain-lain sebanyak 30 peratus,'' katanya.

Beliau berkata demikian kepada pemberita selepas menyerahkan sumbangan wang tunai sebanyak RM70,000 ke dalam Dana Amanah Fisabilillah Pusat Pendidikan Kewangan Islam Antarabangsa (INCEIF) di sini hari ini.

Sumbangan itu diterima oleh Ketua Pegawai Akademik dan Dekan INCEIF, Datuk Profesor Dr. Syed Othman Alhabshi.

INCEIF ditubuhkan sejak 2007 dan merupakan institusi yang menawarkan Program Kewangan Islamik Profesional Berkanun (CIFP) milik Bank Negara Malaysia.

Institusi tersebut menawarkan kursus di peringkat pengajian doktor falsafah dan sarjana yang dijalankan untuk golongan pekerja.

Kini, ia mempunyai 101 pelajar dari 21 buah negara dan lebih 45 peratus merupakan pelajar warga asing.

Ketika ditanya mengenai perancangan produk baru yang ditawarkan Etiqa, Mohd. Tarmizi menambah, pihaknya bercadang untuk melancarkan produk baru selepas Jun ini.

Katanya, sekarang, Etiqa dalam proses mengintegrasikan sistem teknologi maklumatnya bagi memberi kemudahan kepada para pelanggan untuk berurusan dengan syarikat tersebut.

Ujarnya, sistem integrasi itu turut memudahkan tugas kakitangan Etiqa.

Sementara itu, Syed Othman berkata, Dana Amanah Fisabilillah yang menerima sumbangan zakat dari pertubuhan dan individu akan membiayai pelajar INCEIF yang layak untuk melanjutkan pengajian.

Jelasnya, pengagihan wang dari dana itu hanya boleh dibuat berdasarkan arahan pengurusan amanah meliputi lima ahli termasuk dua ahli dari INCEIF dan tiga lagi merupakan pihak luar.

KUALA LUMPUR 20 Jun - Etiqa Takaful Bhd. (Etiqa) yakin kesemua 20,000 polisi takaful terbarunya, Takaful Medic-Save Rider, habis dilanggan dalam tempoh setahun.

Ketua Agensi Etiqa, Abdul Latiff Abu Bakar berkata, setakat ini, sebanyak 5,000 polisi Takaful Medic-Save Rider telah dilanggan sejak ia diperkenalkan pada pra pelancarannya Februari lalu berbanding unjuran awal sebanyak 2,000 polisi

''Ini menunjukkan takaful terbaru keluaran Etiqa disambut baik oleh pelanggan kami dengan sasaran asas telah meningkat sebanyak 60 peratus," katanya.

Beliau menyatakan demikian pada sidang akhbar selepas majlis pelancaran Takaful Medic-Save Rider di sini, hari ini.

Majlis tersebut disempurnakan oleh Mufti Perak, Datuk Seri Harussani Zakaria.

Takaful Medic-Save Rider merupakan pelan perubatan takaful keluarga yang memberi perlindungan untuk perbelanjaan pengkebumian.

Menurut Abdul Latif, Medic-Save Rider juga menyediakan perlindungan dengan membiayai sehingga 90 peratus bil perubatan dan pelanggan boleh menggunakannya di 190 hospital diseluruh negara.

Sasaran produk ini meliputi semua golongan masyarakat termasuk daripada golongan profesional sehingga yang berpendapatan rendah, katanya.

Setakat ini, Etiqa telah memperkenalkan empat produk takaful iaitu Etiqa Takaful Mesra, Etiqa Takaful Prima, Etiqa Takaful Warisan dan Etiqa Takaful Ehsan.
